FOSSConf'09 was jointly organized by Thiagarajar College of Engineering(TCE), Indian Linux User Group-Chennai(ILUGC) and National Resource Centre for FOSS(NRCFOSS)

Parallel tracks of technical talks : CS1, CS2, CS3,CS4 and CS5 Halls of IT Department and Z0 hall of CSE Department,TCE.

Schedule for each day

  • Each day started a special lecture in KS Auditorium.
  • Demo stalls were on display from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
  • Guest speakers delivered four talks/day in the parallel sessions.
  • Installation sessions were on in a separate hall throughout the day.
  • CD Burning Stalls were open throughout the day
  • Quiz contest for the participants sponsored by Sun Microsystems was help throughout the day.
  • Feedback sessions were used to revamp the existing schedule
  • Discussions with experts were conducted to discuss ideas to start new projects/plans
